We’re thrilled to share that two of our spirits were recently recognised at the prestigious Australian International Spirits Awards, each earning a silver medal — a proud moment for our team here at Blue Mountains Gin Company.
Our Wild Dog Vodka, already a favourite among locals and visitors alike, was praised by the judges for being:
“Unctuous with lovely roundness to texture-drive mid-palate, fine and length, finish a little warming but in check.”
This recognition affirms what our regulars have been telling us for years — that Wild Dog is a vodka with character, finesse, and exceptional drinkability.
Even more exciting was the success of our Christmas Spirit, which we entered into the awards for the very first time. This festive release was described as:
“Some nice stewed fruit notes… sweet on the palate and nothing at all aggressive or harsh, bright… there’s sweetness and fruit tannins for balance with soft & warming texture.”
