June live music lineup at The Factory Bar

Friday 12 June – Michael Norton
Michael Norton brings a seasoned, story-rich sound shaped by blues, grooves and ballads gathered across a lifetime of travel and performance. From early roots in the Caribbean and Merseyside through to journeys along Route 66 and into the Blue Mountains, his music carries a sense of place and quiet depth.
Expect a laid-back, soulful set that moves between rhythm and reflection, delivered with warmth and authenticity. It’s the kind of performance that settles in gently and keeps you listening.
Saturday 13 June – Tim Hay
Tim Hay is a husky-voiced singer-songwriter known for playful, inventive covers that bridge contemporary hits and classic favourites. With a smoky alto and a knack for unexpected arrangements, Tim turns familiar songs into fresh stories. Tim is fast becoming a crowd favourite in Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Central West.

Friday 19 June – The Art of Joinery – Gaines Post & Chris Emmerson
6.30 – 8.30 PM
Based in the upper Blue Mountains, The Art of Joinery is an acoustic duo whose individual parts are Chris Emmerson and Gaines Post. They perform a mix of original songs, covers, and instrumentals, and through all of it, their focus is on joining their respective sounds and musical minds synergistically—with the intention of producing a combined effect that is greater than the sum of its parts, not unlike kintsugi (金継ぎ, “golden joinery”) or rigorously-crafted woodworks.
Saturday 20 June – The Tinkers
The Tinkers bring the spirit of Ireland to life with an energetic mix of traditional acoustic music, from foot-stomping reels, jigs and hornpipes to stirring rebel songs and heartfelt ballads. Featuring a lineup of highly respected musicians with deep roots in the Irish and Australian folk scenes, their performances are equal parts musical mastery, storytelling and good craic.
The band has performed at major festivals, galleries, distilleries and venues across Australia, including MONA in Hobart, Folk by the Sea, the Illawarra Folk Festival, Nolan on Lovel Gallery in Katoomba, Joadja Winery, The Lark Distillery and numerous Irish cultural events. Their rich blend of vocals, fiddle, banjo, bouzouki, bodhrán and guitar creates an authentic Irish music experience that will have you singing along one moment and dancing the next.
Saturday 20 June – BonnieDoon
Friday 26 June – Raduga Trio
Raduga Trio bring an energetic, genre-crossing performance grounded in the rich traditions of gypsy music, weaving together sounds from Gypsy Jazz, Balkan and Klezmer influences. Their music moves between spirited instrumentals and soulful melodies, creating a set that feels both worldly and deeply alive.
With accordion, guitar, clarinet, bass and layered vocals, every note is played live, no loops, no backing tracks, just a dynamic exchange between musicians and audience. Expect a lively, participatory atmosphere with plenty of rhythm, movement and moments that invite you in.
Saturday 27 June – Blue Mallee
Blue Mallee are a genre-blending duo weaving indie rock, ambient textures and folk roots into something all their own. Known for evocative storytelling, rich vocals and a touch of humour, their live sets move between heartfelt and playful with ease.
They’ve played festivals across NSW and shared stages with artists including The Black Sorrows and Ash Grunwald, building a loyal following along the way. Their debut release Shout That Whisper / Questions Of Fear has been warmly received, capturing the same cinematic, alt-folk sound they bring to the stage.
