Blue Mountains Gin Company’s Ginger Devil Ginger Beer has taken out a silver medal at the 2026 Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales 2026 Awards, and a spiced version gained a bronze.
The 4% alcohol ginger beer, produced in collaboration with Katoomba Brewery, at the Carrington Hotel, sells in 330ml cans.
Because it is built up on a base of our Wild Dog Vodka, the ginger beer was part of the RAS Sydney 2026 Spirits Awards, rather than the separate RAS beer competition.
In addition to the silver medal, our Spiced version of Ginger Devil Ginger Beer took out a bronze medal in the same competition.
“We’re proud of these results, which recognise the quality of our ginger beer products as appraised by independent, qualified judges,” said Blue Mountains Gin Company co-owner Jann Dillon.
“This is our first venture away from spirits and other higher-alcohol lines and into the 4% category, which is similar to many beers.
“We appreciate the opportunity provided by our association with Katoomba Brewing to make these award-winning products.”
Blue Mountains Gin Company is a strong performer at the RAS awards, having previously taken out gold, silver and bronze medals for a number of its products.
