Comedian Gary Eck (above) is booked for The Factory Bar next month.
COMEDY STAR Gary Eck (at left) will be the headline act when Katoomba’s Comedy Club again brings loads of laughs to The Factory Bar on Thursday 8 October. An experienced international performer, Gary will present a unique show tailored for the occasion and featuring his sharp wit. Also on the bill will be another established comedian, Sam Bowring, as well as two local acts, Steve Skelly and the Scary Strangers duo. As always, Brian and Krysstal will make the evening flow with their unique MC style.
The Factory Bar now hosts Katoomba Comedy Club on the second Thursday of each month. Previously at the Avalon Restaurant in Katoomba Street, the Comedy Club has a dedicated local following that’s certain to continue at the new venue. September’s Comedy Club performers were headed by the well-known Sydney performer, Tommy Dean (right). The Factory Bar welcomed a capacity audience for a great night of stand-up humour.
On the music front, the Factory Bar last month hosted a terrific range of performers, including Nic Danta (at right). Tommy Novak (at left) and Matt Tonks. The trio put on a great set of songs to launch Nic’s album War Torn in front of a highly appreciative crowd.
Among October’s music treats at The Factory Bar will be Blue Mountains singer-songwriter Jarrah Smith, with a mix of original material and familiar favourites.
