All six entries to the 2023 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards (ADSA) have won medals! The Blue Mountains Gin Company has been operating since mid-2021 and has increased retail outlets in the Blue Mountains, Central West NSW and Sydney regions for their expanding range of products.
Gold Medal for Mountain Devil Classic Gin, Silver Medal for Mountain Devil Magic Gin, Bronze Medal for Black Label Gin, Bronze Medal for Wild Dog Vodka. Our two newest spirits also scored medals: Nelly’s Blush Gin and The Christmas Spirit were also awarded Bronze Medals!
The ADSA awards, established in close consultation with the spirits industry in 2015, are determined by industry experts. The ADSA rules are strict, with “blind” tastings fully supervised by stewards.
When allocated an award, distillers confirm important product benchmarking.
In 2023, the ADSA awards attracted over 970 entries from 246 distillers, with 112 awarded Gold, 364 awarded Silver and 318 awarded Bronze.
